FLATHEAD LAKE LOOKOUT

A small getaway cabin on Flathead Lake outside of Bigfork, MT. The design takes advantage of gorgeous lake views, provides ample opportunity for indoor-outdoor living, and seeks to create a cozy spaces throughout the home (including a bunk room and loft). Exposed roof beams and a cantilevered deck highlight the structure of the home. A burned and brushed cedar siding gives the exterior of the home a warm and weathered look to fit the cabin softly into the landscape. A small shed adjacent to the cabin serves as a writing studio and overflow space for additional guests.
