BLUE BAY CABIN
A small 450 sf studio cabin for weekend getaways near Flathead Lake in Polson, MT. The sloping nature of the sight and the client’s desire for a “treehouse feel” for the project dictated a stilt construction approach to the design. A core-ten steel entry frames a view of the lake beyond and leads out to a balcony hanging out amongst the surrounding trees.
